Plumbing Working on MATC Upgrades
June 1 , 2009 -- Restrooms, wash facilities and shower rooms at Milwaukee Area Technical College campuses in downtown Milwaukee and in West Allis will be upgraded during a summer project that involves Lagina Plumbing.
The Milwaukee-based commercial plumbing company is part of the team working for general contractor VJS Construction Services.
The facilities will be upgraded and brought into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act compliance.
“We’ll need to complete all the work by the time classes resume in early August, so a high level of cooperation with other trades will be essential,” said Jim Lagina, president of Lagina Plumbing. “Use of our in-house pre-fabrication shop for restroom and shower systems will help tremendously with the logistics of these large campus footprints.”
