Plumbing Selected for Gateway Plastics Expansion
May 27, 2009 -- Lagina Plumbing has been selected for complete interior and exterior plumbing systems for an addition and relocation of existing utility lines at Gateway Plastics on County Line Road in Mequon.
Work starts in June on the 164,000-square-foot addition, which will serve as warehouse and production space for Gateway Plastics. Work will proceed while the company continues operations in the existing 120,000-square-foot plant.
Inland Construction is the general contractor with Cory Pederson serving as project manager.
“At our kick-off meeting, Inland Senior Vice President Bruce Stern stated that knowing the expectations of the customer up front for high quality construction and work on a tight schedule has raised the bar for all of us,” said Jim Lagina, president of the Milwaukee-based commercial plumbing company. “Our game plan calls for clear communications with all trades on the job, coordinating proactively to exceed deadlines so all companies on the project benefit. We are ready to raise the bar!”
Gateway Plastics, founded in 1970, specializes in plastic injection molding for major corporations across North America.
